How I’d Like To Be in That Number

My family rocks.  Throw in 20 or 30 of my Dad’s friends, and it really rocks.  We had about 50 people over for dinner on Saturday night, and asked a half dozen jazz musicians over.  We rented tables and chairs, brought in food, and my Mom made a couple of tasty birthday cakes. We celebrated Dad’s birthday and had a great time.

Here are a few shots of the party.  Even with the digital camera delay I manged to get everyone in the conga line just so.

It was all around a good time – we were lucky with the weather, we were lucky with the food, we were lucky so many people wanted to hang out with us, and we were especially lucky the band was available.

I think we are just plain lucky.
