It finally feels like fall in Tucson. And the girls have had a harvest weekend. Friday, Phil took them and 2 neighbor kids to the zoo for Trick or Treating in their costumes (a pirate and a diva, can you guess who was who?). Then Saturday, Phil took them to a costume birthday party in the park.
During all that, I was at a retreat for work with 27 early rising, coffee drinking miner types. The first day they were tired of skulking around in the dark, so “we” (everyone but me that is) agreed to start the day at 6:30 am on Saturday. I got there at 6:05 and they had already gone through 40 cups of coffee. Sweet.
Then today we went to the pumpkin patch, which always makes it feel like fall. We have been coming to this one since Levi and Kara were little, and lucky for us, Julie was in town to go with us. A few shots for the day:

Hi lady…is this at the Buckelew Pumpkin Festival???
GIRL!! I was SO going to call you out on this one, but then I wondered if you had quit me too :). YES! SO your neighborhood, and I told everyone i could. “Did you know my friend Jillian used to live by here?”
Too funny!! You probably saw my entire family just did’t know…did you visit the corn hut at all??? My family was working it…selling hot dogs, hamburgers, burritos…you name it they probably sold it. 🙂 Ohhh I soooo miss Tucson!!! Are the girls going trick or treating tonight???
we DID have corn. Your mom served us up, I guess :). Next time I will be sure to ask “Is anyone related to Jill in there?”
