Merry Christmas

I hope you and yours had a lovely long weekend.  We were in snow country, otherwise known as Flagstaff.  And while I was glad to get home to the 74 degree day in Tucson today, we had a lovely time in Flagstaff.

It has been a while since I just sat around, played games and ate, so it was very relaxing.  And since I am thin-blooded, I spent much of the weekend huddled by the fireplace, which was also a nice change.  It helped me feel rested, so when I got home I hit the ground running with the final week of 2006 closet purge, gift putting away, and catch up laundry mode.  It is T  minus 4 days to Javelina Camp Convergence, which means we have to get this house in ship shape just in time for it to become Headquarters for what we just call “The Boys”.

This is the first time in alot of years that I actually am working this week, so it will be interesting to see how it all works out.  I will keep you posted…

As a final note, in direct opposition to my historical negligence, I am planning to make some new years resolutions this year.  I haven’t put them to paper yet, but I just shopped the Title Nine sale catalog so I think I should include something exercise related to justify a little shopping…

Let me know if you make resolutions or not?

I do usually make at least one resolution, but it’s always one that I think is actually possible to keep. Two years ago I resolved to match up socks before putting them in the dresser drawer. I was very successful. This year, I’m thinking along the lines of creating and using a laundry tracker so I can admire my own diligence in laundry accomplishments. Aim high, right?

NEVER make New Year’s resolutions! They are bad for you.

And I agree with Charley…New Year’s resolutions are bad for you!! But, if you insist go ahead make one…and let me know in March if it is still on the list of resolutions. BTW, what is a laundry tracker?? Really that soons like more time than its worth.
